Usability

Pixicom has both the knowledge and experience necessary to make sure your website does not suffer any of these pitfalls.
Accessibility
Accessibility applies not only to making your website compatible with devices such as screen readers for the blind, but also ensuring that it will work with mobile devices such as PDAs and Smart Phones. Image-heavy, slow-loading websites are a major annoyance for these users. Also, a screen reader cannot read text that is embedded in an image. You do not have to sacrifice visual aesthetics to make your website accessible — your site just needs to be programmed using standards that support these devices.
Search-Engine Optimization
Again, while content plays a key role in how well the search engines will like your site, there are site-building methods that can further attract search engines to your site (and these do not include meta-tags, which are rarely recognized by search engines anymore). Without getting too technical: older methods of website development use lots of unnecessary programming code that gets in the way of search engines indexing ("reading") the text on your website. The average viewer can not tell the difference visually between the older and more modern methods of website layout, but the search engines certainly can... And they reward you for making their job (indexing the content on your website) easier by putting you higher up in the list of search results.
